Who we are
The Stile e Storia Association was created to unify the world of research in the ornamentation sector with that of fashion and art to spread a new culture of style.
Stile e Storia wants to be a point of reference for the historical-cultural enhancement of jewelery and fashion intended as expressions of the costume of a given era.
TEAM
We are a meeting point for researchers, historians, lovers of the history of jewelery, bijou, fashion and costume. We carry out scientific research and are committed to the dissemination of knowledge in these areas.
The aim is to disseminate the themes of the association in simple language through our publications, social networks and articles.
To do this we collaborate with cultural, scientific and educational institutions in order to organize inventories and catalogs; the creation of websites and multimedia products; the production of exhibitions; the organization of conferences, seminars and study days.
We keep alive the comparison and collaboration between the world of scholars and that of enthusiasts.

NETWORK OF COLLABORATIONS AND UNIVERSITIES
STILE E STORIA collaborates with prestigious institutions of the Municipality of Milan such as the Boschi di Stefano House Museum and Palazzo Morando Costume Moda Immagine and Lombardy such as the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo and the Ente Villa Carlotta in Tremezzina (Como).
The exhibitions organized by the Association boast the patronage of entities such as: Lombard Goldsmith Association, Milan Monza and Brianza Chamber of Commerce, National Chamber of Italian Fashion, CBJO, CNA, Municipality of Milan, RCS Documentation Center, RAI.
STILE E STORIA is in constant contact with researchers from Italian and foreign research institutions and university laboratories. Also very important are the thesis works carried out with the scientific support of STYLE AND HISTORY at the University of Milan, Degree Course in Humanities for Communication.
The collaboration with the Raffles Fashion and Design Institute in Milan is also of great importance.
